speaking SERVICES

Mallory Habstritt is a 16-year-old vitiligo advocate, Phillips Exeter Academy student, and published author who spent years hiding her skin — and now speaks openly about what it took to stop. Alongside her mom and co-author, Annalee, she brings audiences a mother-daughter story about hiding, belonging, and self-acceptance, built around their children's book, Angel's Big Splash.

We offer three distinct speaking sessions, each designed for a specific audience: young children, tweens and teens, and parents/educators. All three run up to 60 minutes, are available in-person or virtually, and include supporting materials at no extra cost.

We're currently booking for the 2026–2027 school and programming year We'd love to come share our story with you!

Angel's Big Splash: Be You, Be Brave

A joyful, dog-themed introduction to vitiligo and skin differences, framed with curiosity rather than anxiety. Kids leave with simple language for talking about differences kindly, a "My Superpower Spot" creative activity, and a real connection with a teen who once felt exactly what they're feeling.

Session 1 * Brave Beginnings

Best for: Elementary schools, K–3 classrooms, library story time, early childhood programs.

Audience: Children ages 4–9 (PreK–Grade 5)

Format: 45–60 minutes | In-person or virtual | Classroom or assembly | Book signing available

Group size: 15–300 students

Mallory and Annalee Speaking Program 2

Session 2 * Brave Out Loud

From Hiding to Shining: Owning Your Whole Story

Built for the often-underserved tween audience, this session reframes the things that make us feel different as origin stories, not disqualifications. Includes a paired "superpower patch" reflection activity and a "My Brave Moment" journal prompt to take home.

Best for: Middle school assemblies, tween book clubs, independent bookstore events, upper elementary programs.

Audience: Tweens and young teens ages 9–14 (Grades 6–12)

Format: 45–60 minutes | In-person or virtual | Classroom, stage, or store | Journaling activity included

Group size: 20–200 participants

Mallory and Annalee Speaking Program 3

Session 3 * Brave Together

Raising Brave Kids: What Angel Taught Us Both

A candid, honest conversation — not a lecture — about supporting a child through a visible difference. Annalee shares what she wishes she'd known; Mallory shares what she actually needed from the adults around her. Works well as accessible professional development for school counselors and educators.

Best for: Parent book clubs, PTA/PTO evenings, library parent programs, school counselor or teacher professional development.

Audience: Parents, caregivers, and educators | Book clubs, PTA/PTO events, library programs, professional development

Format: 45–60 minutes | In-person or virtual | Book club discussion guide provided in advance

Group size: 18–60 participants
